HOW TO PREPARE YOUR AUDIO MATERIAL FOR MIXING AND MASTERING
Mastering
For mastering only, just send us a stereo audio file at the best quality available. Please NO LIMITING on the mix bus! Don't hit 0dB too hard – leave a few dBs of headroom for us to do our thing.
Mixing and mastering
For mixing and mastering, please export multiple tracks from your program. We prefer it if you turn EQ, compression and reverbs off. Please make sure that the individual tracks and folder are correctly named, and include your original demo mix, along with other reference tracks and your mix notes. Please name the folder ‘ArtistName_SongName’, then zip it (e.g. MartinJhons_TheSky.zip).
Audio Levels

Please export your audio at the level you have it in your rough mixdown as this will provide a good starting point for us. Please also ensure that no audio channels are peaking any higher than -1db before exporting. If you record the audio too loud, it will affect the final audio quality.

File Format

The file format should be as follows; 24 or 32 bit 44.1 or 48 kHz WAV. We DO NOT recommend mp3s.
